New York Security Forces
Under the command of the Generalkommissar für Nordamerika, the Security Forces are responsible for the security and loyalty of the Capital and all territories within the Imperial American Protectorate. The Security Forces are made up of two main departments: the National Sicherheitsbüro (NSB), the highest political policing branch within the empire, and the Volkssicherheitskräfte (VSK), which is responsible for the enforcement of the directives issued by the Commissioner General.
The New York Security Forces, headquartered in Victory Tower, are a German force. All personnel of the National Security Bureau and Security Forces must be of German nationality. The Generalkommissar is appointed by the Lord Protector and is the direct representative of the Ordermarshall in the occupied North American continent.
The Security Forces have a police court, separate from the civil courts of the Protectorate. The Chief Justice of the Court of New York still oversees the police court.
