Introduction

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Labor is one of the ten Federal Ministries under the Imperial Chancellery. Led by the Agriculture and Labor Minister, the ministry oversees a wide array of critical responsibilities. It manages agricultural production, sustainable forestry practices, and labor policies, ensuring the nation’s food security, resource conservation, and workforce welfare. Beyond these core functions, the ministry plays a vital role in implementing national initiatives related to rural development, environmental stewardship, and workforce training. These efforts ensure that the nation maintains a resilient food supply, preserves natural resources, and supports a strong, skilled labor force to meet current and future needs.

Organization of the Ministry

Currently, the ministry is organized into 3 main offices:

  • The Agriculture Office
  • The Forestry Office
