Role in Imperial Germany

Their mandate is to serve as elite protectors of the emperor, ensuring his safety during public appearances and within the palace. They upheld imperial authority, deterred assassination attempts, and symbolized power and loyalty. Their presence reinforce order, security, and reverence for the emperor across the empire.

Composition and Organization

AMT I : Administration / Verwaltung

Responsible for the personnel concerns, providing material, financial assistance and administration of the National Security Bureau.

The Chief of the Administrative Office is be responsible for administrative concerns and questions along with the coordination of personnel.

AMT II : Kriminalamt

Responsible for the suppression of ordinary crimes against the Empire. Responsible for the prosecution of ordinary criminal offenses to the Crown and Empire.

AMT III : Bundessicherheitsdienst

Responsible for the ideological and material supervision of all citizens, the monitoring of political movements, the collection of records, and other intelligence tasks at the discretion of the Director of the National Security Bureau.

AMT IV  : Geheimeschutzdienst

Responsible for suppression of political resistance to the Emperor or Imperial government. Responsible for the prosecution of political offenses to the Crown and Empire.

AMT V : Außensicherheitsbüro

Responsible for the collection of foreign intelligence abroad.
