Introduction

The Ministry of Science is one of the ten Federal Ministries which comprise the Imperial Chancellery. It is led by the Science Minister, who directs a broad spectrum of essential functions. The ministry is responsible for advancing scientific research, managing technological innovation, and coordinating with research institutions and industry partners. In addition to driving scientific progress, the ministry plays a pivotal role in implementing broader national initiatives, such as sustainability programs, resource management, and strategic investments in emerging technologies. This ensures that the nation remains at the forefront of scientific development, prepared to address both current challenges and future advancements.

Organization of the Ministry

Currently, the ministry is organized into 4 main institutions:

  • Institute of Security Research
  • Institute of Medical Research
  • Institute of Industry and Innovation
  • Institute of Archaeology
