Introduction

The Reichstag, also called the Imperial Diet, was the main elected body in the Empire. It comprises 410 seats, 236 elected seats for Prussia and 174 unelected seats appointed by the Kaiser. Elections were conducted in-game via the ballot box system, and most candidates were sponsored by one of the three major political parties, The White Rose, the Prussian People's Party(Disbanded), and the Free Market Syndicate(Disbanded).

Composition and Organization

There were twelve subdivisions for the Reichstag:

The below four subdivisions were grouped together as 'Prussia', and were the only elected parts;

  • Brandenburg
  • Hannover
  • Westfalen
  • Rhineland

The remaining eight were unelected;

  • Bavaria
  • Saxony
  • Wurttemberg and Baden
  • Thuringian States
  • Hesse and Mecklenburg
  • Hansa Cities and Oldenburg
  • Salzburg
  • Brunswick and Alsace-Lorraine
